The Dolphin is an aquatic mammal that is closely related to whales
and porpoises. They are sleek and powerful swimmers that can be found
in oceans and seas all around the world. Dolphins are different from
porpoises because of their well-defined, beaklike snout and counical
teeth. There are about 32 species of dolphins that range from the
classic bottle-nosed to the more exotic buffeo dolphin. The buffeo
dolphin, or river dolphin, can grow to 1.2 m long, making them the
smallest of the dolphins. On the other hand, bottle-nosed dolphins,
the largest dolphin, can grow to 3 m in length.
