Subject: RE: Tech's Impact on Vox

in my humble opinion, any study of the impact of technology on vocal
music would be incomplete without considering the work of Trevor
Wishart, British composer, whoses extensive research and composition have
influenced a generation of contemporary and experimental composers.

See particularly the "Vox" series of pieces and "Anticredos" as well as the
book "On Sonic Art" (soon to be republished bu Cambridge University Press)
and a new book (can't remember the title) available in the next couple of
weeks.

Oh, and "Tongues of Fire", a piece played at the recent International
Computer Music Conference (and elsewhere).
